Few real-world studies have investigated the transition from conventional cardiac troponin (cTn) to high-sensitivity cardiac troponin (hs-cTn) assays (1–3). We evaluated the impact of implementing hs-cTn assays and sex-specific thresholds on the number of women and men diagnosed with myocardial infarction.
