Abstract
MUHEZA, TANZANIA - The use of insecticide-treated bed sheets is being tested in Tanzania, as a potential means of reducing night-time mosquito bites and preventing malaria. These sheets could provide an additional or alternative protection to insecticide-treated bed nets. Dr Matthew Kirby of the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine told Sarah Maxwell about their scientific study in villages.
