Abstract

: Chronic neuropathic pain in treated leprosy has received scant attention. In this article the concept, clinical features and diagnosis of neuropathic pain are reviewed. The possible pathophysiological mechanisms, treatment challenges and research needs in this area are discussed.<br/>
