Abstract
The IDEAS project runs web seminars as part of its Technical Resource Centre. The IDEAS web seminar series aims to share learning, knowledge and experience in maternal and newborn health. This web seminar will look at scaling-up and improving coverage of maternal, newborn and child health programmes and interventions through integration with the Expanded Program on Immunization services. It will highlight some of the best practices for integration of maternal, newborn and child health programs, and key considerations when developing integration strategies. Routine and campaign immunisation services as a backbone of integration will be discussed, as well as other interventions along the continuum of care. This web seminar is based on the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health Knowledge Summary Integrating immunization and other services for women and children, written by Katherine Theiss-Nyland. The presentation, given by Katherine Theiss-Nyland, PhD candidate and science writer for IDEAS, will be followed by an opportunity for questions and answers. NOTE: Katherine does not represent the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health and views expressed are her own.
